Toronto FAQ

Common questions

How fast can you get to a Toronto site?
We dispatch from Mississauga, typically reaching Toronto sites same-week, with priority response for urgent work like fire restoration or graffiti.
Can you work in occupied downtown buildings?
Yes. Dustless and residue-free methods let us work in or around occupied towers, restaurants and condos with minimal disruption.
Do you handle City of Toronto wastewater rules?
We use recovery and filtration systems to capture contaminated runoff, keeping your property onside with municipal storm-drain regulations.
How much does sandblasting cost in Toronto?
It depends on the surface, the coating being removed and site access, which is why we quote from photos or an on-site assessment rather than a flat rate. Send a photo of the job and we'll reply with a no-obligation estimate, usually the same business day.
Can you remove graffiti from brick without damaging it?
Yes. We tune the media and pressure to the masonry, and for older or heritage brick we can switch to laser cleaning, which takes the paint off without eroding the face of the brick.
Do you need water or power from our building?
Usually not. Our rigs are truck-mounted and self-contained, so for most Toronto jobs we bring our own water, power and recovery equipment, useful on sites with no exterior hookups.

Toronto sites come with Toronto constraints: tight loading access, occupied buildings, strict noise windows and properties that can't simply shut down for maintenance. Our mobile team works around those realities with scheduling planned around your operations, dustless blasting equipment that keeps particulate down in dense areas, and wastewater recovery that keeps runoff out of city storm drains.

We regularly handle graffiti removal, facade and parkade pressure washing, fire and smoke restoration blasting, and coating removal for Toronto property managers, restoration contractors and building operators. Because everything is truck-mounted and self-contained, including our own water and power for most jobs, we can set up in a laneway, a P1 level or a live loading dock without leaning on your building's infrastructure.

Sandblasting in Toronto, done without the dust cloud

Traditional open sandblasting is a hard sell in a dense city, and on many Toronto properties it's simply not workable: the dust drifts onto neighbouring units, parked cars and pedestrians, and containment tenting adds days to a small job. That's why nearly all of our Toronto blasting work is dustless (wet abrasive) sandblasting, which suppresses up to 95% of airborne particulate at the nozzle. It lets us strip rust, coatings, graffiti and fire damage off steel, brick and concrete on occupied properties, without shutting down the sidewalk.

Where even wet abrasive is too aggressive, for heritage masonry, delicate metalwork or equipment that has to stay dry, we switch to dry ice blasting or laser rust and paint removal. Same visit, same crew, different tool.

Typical Toronto projects

The work we're most often called into the city for:

  • Parkade & garage cleaning: high-PSI hot-water washing of decks, ramps and stairwells with full wastewater recovery, scheduled overnight or level-by-level so residents keep parking.
  • Graffiti removal: dustless blasting or laser cleaning that takes paint off brick, block and stone without the ghosting harsh chemicals leave behind.
  • Fire & smoke restoration: soot and char removal from structural members after a fire, prepping steel and masonry for inspection and refinishing.
  • Facade & storefront cleaning: pressure washing and drone facade washing for mid- and high-rise exteriors, with no swing stage or lift rental.
  • Coating & paint removal: stripping failed coatings from structural steel, railings, tanks and equipment ahead of recoating.
  • Restaurant & kitchen equipment: residue-free dry ice cleaning of hoods, lines and fixed equipment, no moisture, no media left behind.

Where in Toronto we work

All of it. We dispatch from our Mississauga headquarters up the Gardiner and 401 daily, and cover the downtown core and waterfront condo corridor, the Port Lands and east-end industrial pockets, the Junction and Stockyards, Leaside and North York commercial strips, and everything between. Working in Etobicoke or Scarborough? Those areas have their own pages, but it's the same team and the same equipment.
