Milton FAQ
Common questions
How fast can you reach a Milton site?
Can you work around a live distribution operation?
Do you do fleet and trailer work?
Milton is one of the fastest-growing industrial markets in the GTA, and it shows: massive distribution centres, new commercial builds going up across Halton, and heavy-truck fleets running around the clock. That pace calls for surface prep that keeps up without creating a mess. Our mobile crew brings its own water and power, runs dustless blasting equipment that keeps particulate down inside warehouses, and recovers wastewater so runoff never reaches the storm system.
We prep concrete and steel for coatings, de-rust trailers and equipment, and keep warehouse interiors clean and compliant for developers, general contractors, fleet operators and facility managers. Because every truck is self-contained, we can set up on a fresh slab, a live loading dock or a fleet yard without waiting on your building's services to be connected.
Sandblasting in Milton, done without the dust cloud
Open sandblasting inside a distribution centre is a non-starter: the dust drifts into racking, inventory and HVAC, and a working DC can't stop moving freight to let it settle. That's why nearly all of our Milton blasting is dustless (wet abrasive) sandblasting, which suppresses up to 95% of airborne particulate at the nozzle. It lets us strip rust, mill scale and old coatings off steel, concrete and block, whether we're prepping a new build or working around live operations.
Where abrasive and moisture can't be introduced, around powered equipment, conveyors or freshly finished surfaces, we switch to dry ice blasting or laser rust and paint removal. Both clean and de-rust in place with no media and no residue to sweep up afterward. Same visit, same crew, different tool.
Typical Milton projects
We show up in Milton for two kinds of work, new-build prep and keeping live facilities running:
- New-build surface prep: blasting and cleaning concrete and structural steel for coatings before a facility is turned over.
- Trailer & fleet de-rusting: stripping rust and flaking paint off trailers, chassis and yard equipment ahead of repainting.
- Warehouse interior cleaning: keeping floors, racking and structural steel clean and compliant with minimal disruption to freight.
- Coating removal: taking failed coatings off tanks, structural members and equipment before recoating.
- Exterior & lot washing: pressure washing of docks, aprons, building exteriors and hardscapes with full wastewater recovery.
- Graffiti removal: clean removal of paint from block, concrete and steel without ghosting.
Where in Milton we work
We dispatch from our Mississauga headquarters, a short run up the 401, and cover Milton's industrial lands near the 401 and 407 and along James Snow Parkway, the newer business parks off Steeles and Derry, and commercial properties through the town core. Working nearby in Oakville, Burlington or Mississauga? Those areas have their own pages, but it's the same team and the same equipment.
