Etobicoke FAQ

Common questions

How quickly can you reach an Etobicoke site?
Etobicoke borders our Mississauga home base, it's one of our fastest dispatch areas, usually same-week.
Can you strip old coatings from older industrial buildings?
Yes, layered paint, rust and mill scale on steel and concrete are exactly what dustless sandblasting is built for, with far less airborne dust.
Do you do small commercial jobs too?
We focus on commercial and industrial work of all sizes, from a single piece of equipment to a full warehouse.

Etobicoke's industrial stock runs older than much of the GTA, and older buildings mean layered coatings, rusted structural steel and surfaces that need real preparation before they can be re-coated or restored. Rather than haul materials off to a shop, we bring the work to the site with a mobile crew, including our dustless blasting rigs, and recover the wastewater on site so nothing reaches the storm drains near the lake.

Most of our Etobicoke work comes from property managers, contractors and facility managers along the 427, The Queensway and the Lake Shore industrial areas. Every truck is self-contained, carrying its own water and power, and because we dispatch from nearby Mississauga, Etobicoke jobs get some of the fastest scheduling we offer. For a tenant fit-out or an urgent restoration, that short drive often means we can be on site the same week.

Sandblasting in Etobicoke, done without the dust cloud

Open blasting inside an older industrial building spreads sand and debris everywhere, which is a problem around neighbouring tenants, equipment and product. That is why nearly all of our work is dustless (wet abrasive) sandblasting, cutting airborne dust by up to 95% while stripping the layered rust, paint and coatings that older steel, brick and concrete tend to carry.

When heavy buildup calls for one method and delicate equipment calls for another, we match the tool to the substrate on the same visit. Dry ice blasting cleans machinery in place with no media and no residue, so there is nothing to sweep up and no grit working into moving parts. And laser rust and paint removal handles equipment you cannot risk damaging, lifting oxide and coatings without touching the metal underneath. Same crew, same day, different method.

Typical Etobicoke projects

Across Etobicoke's older industrial areas, the jobs we handle most often include:

  • Warehouse floors: heavy-duty preparation and scrubbing before new coatings go down.
  • Loading docks: high-PSI pressure washing with full wastewater recovery.
  • Manufacturing equipment: dry ice or laser cleaning without a teardown.
  • Structural steel: stripping layered coatings and rust ahead of repainting.
  • Parkades: deep cleaning of decks, walls and columns for multi-tenant buildings.
  • Fire-damage restoration: soot and char removal from steel, masonry and framing.

Where in Etobicoke we work

We cover the industrial areas along Highway 427, The Queensway and the Lake Shore corridor, as well as commercial pockets throughout the rest of Etobicoke. Smaller commercial jobs are welcome alongside the large industrial ones, and we scope each on access and substrate before quoting. Because our base is just across the border, we also work regularly in Toronto and Mississauga.
